August: My letter from the Front Porch
One of the questions I get asked most often is, “What makes staying at a boutique inn different?”. The answer isn’t found in a room or an amenity—it’s in the moments. It’s sharing coffee with guests on the porch before they head out to explore Cocoa Village, celebrating anniversaries and birthdays together, watching strangers become friends over a glass of wine, and getting to know the stories that brought people here in the first place. Those are the moments I dreamed about long before The Parrish Grove Inn ever opened its doors, and this month reminded me why I took the leap.
July was filled with so many of those moments. Our very first Supper Club was everything I had hoped it would be—an evening where incredible food, thoughtfully selected wines, and wonderful conversation came together around one table. What a joy to hear all the laughter and conversations coming from fast friends over the table! Seeing that vision come to life was incredibly rewarding, and I can’t wait to do it again this September.
A heartfelt thank you also goes to Historic Cocoa Village Main Street for a wonderful Preservation on Main Street Week and for the countless ways they champion our small businesses and this incredible community we’re so fortunate to call home.
Perhaps the biggest surprise of all came when The Parrish Grove Inn was named a Best of Brevard finalist for Best Hotel. To receive that recognition after being open for less than six months is something I never expected, and I’m truly humbled. Every guest who has stayed with us, attended an event, shared a kind word, or recommended us to a friend has played a part in this journey. Thank you for showing up, for believing in this little dream, and for allowing us to be part of your celebrations and special moments. If you’ve been thinking about joining us, make your reservation today using our 250 anniversary promotion before it expires or join us on the porch for one of our fun events in August. We’d love to save you a seat at the table!
Until next month,
See you on the porch.
